Unlocking Explained There are still a lot of mysterys and myths about unlocking your phone. We hope a few seconds reading on this page will clear all that up for you.

 

So what does unlocking do?

Unlocking a phone simply means you are removing the network lock off a phone by doing this you will be freeing it to sim cards from other networks.

 

So for example if I had a Rogers Canada W995 and it was locked I would not be able to use my movistar sim card when I went home to spain because Rogers locked the phone to there sim cards only unlocking would free this and allow me to use my movistar sim card.

 

Is unlocking legal?

 

Yes is is completely legal networks actually offer unlocking themselves although they dont advertise this for obvius reasons. It is however illegal to unlock a stolen phone.

 

Will this software fix imei or a phone blacklisted

 

No this tooll only remove the network lock it does not support imei changing as this is illegal in most countrys worldwide.
